The Blue Stones are a rock band from Canada, made up of two guys: Tarek Jafar (who sings and plays guitar) and Justin Tessier (who plays the drums and sings backup). They've been around since 2011 and are known for mixing different music styles like blues, rock, and pop. "Come Apart" is a new song from The Blue Stones, and it’s a taste of their upcoming album called "Metro," which will come out on March 28, 2025. This album tells a story about someone going through a tough time in a kind of bleak and futuristic world.

The song has a heavy, catchy guitar riff and strong, punchy drum beats. The lyrics talk about the struggle of keeping up with society's expectations while trying to follow your own dreams. It includes lines like "Woke up with a headache // Don’t know how I’m gonna work today," which reflect the challenges of our busy, connected world. The music video for this track fits the song’s gritty and rebellious vibe. It shows a character in a futuristic subway, dealing with their darker side. The subway's loudspeaker voice acts like the person’s inner critic, emphasizing the pressure from society.

Tarek Jafar and Justin Tessier have said they want their music to help people feel stronger and more authentic. They explain that the subway in their album is a metaphor for the conflicts we all face, like balancing what society expects from us with what we truly want. The Blue Stones are known for their exciting live shows, which have taken them from small bars to famous venues like The Troubadour in Los Angeles and The Danforth Music Hall in Toronto.
