Hello everyone, today we are covering the artist Worn-Tin out of Santa Monica, California. Before obtaining the nickname Worn-Tin, he went by Warner. The band is currently on tour in the US. Warner, turning his nickname into his stage name, has been creating great music since 2012.
Warner began producing music from his shed/studio in his backyard. Using old school style and gear. His commitment to analog recording is encapsulated by his philosophy, "If I can’t Play it, I can’t lay it," ensuring authenticity in every song. His music has a sweet sound, reminiscent of the '60s and '70s with an indie rock blend. The warm vibe from the analog shows through in the guitar work. The band's song “Something’s Coming” is a great example of the excellent tones coming from Worn-Tin.
Before Warner found success in music with worn tin, he was well on the path to becoming a comedian, engaging in improv, open mics, and even flirting with the idea of clown college. In the end, Warner found his voice in music and made Worn-Tin, where he could express all aspects of his creative vision.
When it comes to writing, Warner is the driving force behind Worn-Tin. Writing all the songs, playing all the parts, recording and engineering all of it. A incredible talented person to say the lest. When it's time to tour, his many friends join him, bringing together a super like band. together they create more then a show, a memorable experience to their fans. Whether it's a big festival or a small venue, these guys bring a great performance.
Worn-Tin has released three studio albums and multiple EPs and tones of singles. Most recently, the band put out “Laurene,” their 2024 album release, getting a great response from fans with the song “Hard Erase.” The band has ten pulse concerts listed for this year that run into April and Worn-Tin just announced on social media they will be performing at South by Southwest.
