London rocker, Cam Cole, also known as the one man band, released a new single on November 1, 2024, titled "So Blues (From The Truck)." This song was first released on his EP titled Tattoo Rings EP from 2019. Cam recorded this remastered track from his truck. Now we know why it is titled "So Blues (From The Truck)." For this recording, he used portable equipment which helped Cole maintain the spontaneity and energy typical of his street busker days.

The remastering of this song is very well done and thought out. You can most definitely hear the mixture of blues with rock and roll in this tune. The song opens with a acoustic guitar melody, creating a somber tone. Eventually the pedal steel guitar, drums, and bass, come in, setting up the emotional feelings of the lyrics. The song explores heartbreak and the struggle to cope with loss. Cole paints a vivid picture of a lonely person driving through the night, grappling with the aftermath of a failed relationship. The lyrics are filled with imagery and metaphors, effectively revealing the person's emotional state.

So Blues (From The Truck)" is available across various streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music. There is also a music video of this single on YouTube. It shows Cam performing the song inside his truck, further emphasizing the intimate and unfiltered nature of the recording.
