"Kurt Vile’s 2025 Tour Heats Up: What’s Next for the rising star"

Today's report is on Kurt Vile, how he got started and grew through his career, from “Wagonwheel Blues” to “Back to Moon Beach,” and his best preforming song “ Pretty Pimpin.”

Kurt Samuel Vile born January 3rd, 1980 is an Indie rock/ psychedelic rock artist, who began his career by founding the Indie rock/ neo psychedelia band the War on Drugs along with Adam Granduciel. They went on to release their debut album “Wagonwheel Blues” in 2008, right before Vile left the group to focus on his solo career.

Now focused on his solo career, he released two albums “Constant Hitmaker” on March 4th, 2008 and “God is Saying This to You” on March 3rd, 2009 using a mix of recording he made in his home back from 2003. Vile Also signed with Matador records before releasing his third album “Childish Prodigy” on October 5th, 2009, which happened to be his first studio recorded album with his backing band the Violators.

March 7th, 2011 brought his fourth album “Smoke Ring For My Halo,” Kurt made the comment “It’s just me and those thoughts you have late at night when nobody is around. It’s more of a feeling than a statement, a general wandering feeling. It’s kinda of a wandering record.” 2013 brought us his fifth album “Wakin On A Pretty Daze” on April 8th, 2013, and the Deluxe version “Wakin On A Pretty Daze [Deluxe Daze (Post Haze)]” on November 18th, 2013.

“B’lieve I’m Goin Down” is Vile’s sixth studio album, released on September 25th, 2015. The first song on the album “Pretty Pimpin” is his best reforming song, which topped the “Adult Alternative Songs” Billboard charts in 2016. He collaborated with Australian Singer/ Guitarist Courtney Barnett on his Seventh album “Lotta Sea Lice” released on October 13th, 2017.The eight album released on October 12th, 2018 “ Bottle It In” was trailed by a country influenced EP Called “Speed, Sound, Lonely KV” on October 2nd, 2020.

“(Watch My Moves)” is his ninth Studio Album, released on April 15th, 2022, which was mostly recorded in his home dues to the Covid 19 Plandemic. On May 4th, 2023 his longtime friend and Violators bandmate Rob Laakso at the age of 44 sadly passed away from a hard fought battle with cancer. Later on in 2023 Vile released the 52 minute EP “Back to Moon Beach.”

As for 2025 goes there has been no newly released album , EP, or single yet but Kurt is currently touring in the US and parts of Canada. He will be touring in Rialto theater in Tucson, Arizona on June 12th, Encore theater at Wynn Las Vegas in Las Vegas on June 13th and the 14th, The Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona on June 16th and 17th, Belly Up in Solana Beach, California on June 18th, Observatoryin Santa Ana, California on June 19th, Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California on June 20th and 21st, Paramount Theater in Seattle, Washington on June 23rd and 24th, The Orpheum in Vancouver, June 26th and 27th, Knitting Factory in Spokane, Washington on June 28th, Knitting Factory in Boise, Idaho on June 29th, M’telus in Montreal on July 9th, Festival D’été de Québec in Québec on July 10th, The Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on July 11th, and many more.
