The Deadbeat Cousins are a blues-rock quartet from Mesa, Arizona. They have been steadily gaining recognition for their engaging performances, soulful vocals, and tight musicianship. They formed the band in 2017 with band members Mat Shaker (lead vocals/guitar), Jaren Soelberg (guitar/vocals), Jess Soelberg (bass), and Jason Roedl (drums). Their unique blend of classic rock, blues, and modern influences has resonated with audiences and critics alike.

The band members' shared passion for blues and rock music has been a driving force behind their creative process. Influenced by a diverse range of artists, the Deadbeat Cousins have developed a sound that is both familiar and fresh. Their music draws upon the rich traditions of blues and rock, while adding a bit of modern alternative and indie rock. The Deadbeat Cousins performed at different venues on the music scene in Phoenix, Arizona.

In 2019, The Deadbeat Cousins released their debut album titled Get By. This album has 11 songs on it that include "Slow Down," "Ain't Nobody," "Don't Mind No Distance," and "Deal With The Devil." This was the bands opportunity to introduce themselves and create a fanbase on the music scene. The band released their next album titled Old Habits in 2022. This album has 10 tracks on it that include "The Reckoning," "Time Is Up," "Heaven Help Me," and "The Preacher Man." This album was their breakout album and was well received. In August 2024, they released their latest album titled Get By (With Me). This album has 11 songs on it that include "Slow Down (No Need to Worry)," "Deal With The Devil (You'll Get Yours)," and "Come On Now (Take From Me)." This album helps them to continue to build their fanbase.

The band's success has led to increased touring opportunities, allowing them to reach a wider audience. They have earned opportunities to perform at prestigious venues and festivals across the United States. The Deadbeat Cousins are known for their high-energy and engaging live performances. Their shows are characterized by intense musicianship, improvisation, and a strong connection with the audience. The band's ability to create a powerful atmosphere and captivate listeners has earned them a dedicated following of fans.

The Deadbeat Cousins are currently working on new music and are excited about the future. They are committed to continuing to push the boundaries of their sound and to sharing their music with as many people as possible. With their talent, passion, and dedication, The Deadbeat Cousins are poised to become one of the most exciting bands in the blues-rock scene.
