Oakland CA based band Whiskerman is on the board today, bringing more then sound. This five man band is driven to give fans an experience.

Led by front man Graham Patzner the band made their debut to Spotify September 17, 2011. The self titled album Whiskerman would launch the bands path, navigating there way through the underground, helping develop the music scene in Oakland.

By 2015 Whiskerman released the album “Nomad” really diving into the psychedelic rock vibe, cover to cover the album is a trip. When the band was busy in the studio preparing for the next release, outside of the studio the had been revitalizing festivals and growing a network of artist, emerging in to Oaklands Bay Area and expanding to their audience.

Highly focused on creating great rock and roll, 2016 Whiskerman broke out with their most popular release, the album “Champions” a more bluesy approach and it paid off when the song when the song “Saturday” clipped 1.3 million plays on Spotify becoming the bands most popular song. The deluxe edition of this album included bonus tracks featuring Kelly McFarling. With out going over, this album is well worth a listen.

The next years would be spent establishing a relationship with Oakland fans and running the roads of the United States performing at festivals and other packed events.

The band had grown stronger and set their sights on the next big move, Laying the ground work in preparation for a new album.

The band had talked amongst eachother about bringing together the many sounds of the band into one big picture. With that idea in mind they constructed the album “Kingdom Illusion” Releasing it on March 6, 2020. This album bringing an experience of its own with theatrical moments, A psychedelic trip taking you through love and life with a since of beauty and a lifting tone.

Smashing out multiple singles over the next couple of years with songs like The Kid, highlighting the the bands Folk side. It is incredible the catalog of music Whiskerman has put together. We are excited to see what’s next from this crew and encourage you to give them a listen.
