The Struts, a British rock band hailing from Derby, England, have been a vibrant presence in the rock scene since their formation in 2012. Known for their flamboyant style and high-energy performances, The Struts have carved a niche for themselves in the contemporary music landscape. Combining the swagger of classic rock with a modern twist, they have drawn comparisons to legendary bands like Queen and The Vaccines. The Struts were formed in 2012 when vocalist Luke Spiller and guitarist Adam Slack met and discovered their mutual love for rock music. Spiller, known for his charismatic stage presence and powerful voice, quickly became the face of the band. They were later joined by bassist Jed Elliott and drummer Gethin Davies, completing the lineup that would drive the band's rise to fame.

From the beginning, The Struts were intent on reviving the pop/punk rock genre, bringing back the showmanship that defined the 1970s rock scene. Their name, "The Struts," was inspired by Spiller's strutting dance moves during performances, which became a signature element of their live shows. Their music is a blend of punk rock, hard rock, and pop rock, characterized by catchy lyrics, lively choruses, and a vibrant, retro act. Their sound is heavily influenced by classic rock legends like Queen and The Rolling Stones. The band's music also incorporates elements of modern rock, making their sound both nostalgic and fresh. This combination has allowed them to appeal to a wide audience, from older rock lovers to younger fans discovering rock for the first time.

In 2014, The Struts released their debut album titled Everybody Wants. This album has 11 songs on it that include "Roll Up," "Could Have Been Me," "My Machine," "Black Swan," and "Where Dis She Go." This album was their break out success. It was only released in the UK. It was re-released in 2016. They added five new tracks "Mary Go Round," "The Ol' Switcheroo," "Young Stars," "These Times are Changing" and "Only Just a Call Away", three from the original release were dropped "My Machine," "You & I" and "Let's Make This Happen Tonight" and one, "She Makes Me Feel," was retitled to "She Makes Me Feel Like." The songs "Roll Up", "Could Have Been Me", "Kiss This", "Put Your Money On Me" and "She Makes Me Feel" were re-recorded. While keeping the original album's title, the reissue has different cover art.

The Struts released their second album titled Young & Dangerous. This album has 13 tracks on it that include "Body Talks," "Primadonna Like Me," "People," "Somebody New," "Freak Like You," and "I Do It So Well." The album is a testament to their ability to create rock anthems that are both modern and timeless. In 2020, They released their next album titled Strange Days. This album has 10 songs on it. "All Dressed Up (With Nowhere To Go)," "Do You Love Me," "Can't Sleep," and "Am I Talking To The Champagne (Or Talking To You)." This album reflect the band's adaptability and resilience in challenging times.

The Struts' live shows are a true highlight. They aren't just concerts; they're theatrical experiences. Spiller commands the stage with his charismatic presence, while the rest of the band delivers a tight and energetic performance. Their unique suits, elaborate lighting, and choreographed movements all contribute to a powerful atmosphere that leaves audiences amazed. Their commitment to live performance has earned them a dedicated and passionate fanbase, further solidifying their reputation as a must-see act.

In 2023, the band released their next album titled Pretty Vicious. This album has 11 tracks on it that include "Too Good At Raising Hell," "I Won't Run," "Remember The Name," and "Somebody Someday." This album was very well received by fans and critics alike. In February 2024, The Struts released 2 singles, "How Can I Love You (Without Breaking Your Heart)" and "Heaven's Got Nothing On You." We will be waiting to see if they have a new album dropping following the release of these singles.

The Struts have already established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the rock scene. With a dedicated fanbase, a string of successful albums, and a reputation for delivering unforgettable live experiences, The bad is on a continuous upward track. As they embark on the next chapter of their musical journey, one thing is certain: The Struts will continue to strut their stuff, capturing audiences worldwide and proving that pop rock is alive and well.
