The three young men were united by their love for the rock legends of the 1970s—Led Zeppelin, Cream, and The Who. he band took its name from Rose Hill Drive, a street in Boulder that held a special place in their hearts. They started playing local gigs, quickly gaining a reputation for their high-energy performances and raw, unfiltered sound. Their early shows were a blend of original songs and covers of their favorite bands, which helped them hone their craft and build a loyal local following.

Their big break came in 2005 when they were invited to open for The Who at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. This opportunity was a dream come true for the band, and they seized it with both hands.
