"Today, we bring to you from Charleston, South Carolina, SUSTO (pronounced 'SOOSTO')"

SUSTO was formed in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2013 by lead vocalist and songwriter Justin Osborne. Other founding members of the band are Johnny Delaware and Marshall Hudson. The band's name, 'Susto,' is a Spanish word meaning 'panic attack' or 'intense fear.' SUSTO was influenced by a variety of genres that include Americana, alt-country, and indie rock, and artists like Ryan Adams, Wilco, and The Band.

SUSTO released their self-titled, eleven-track debut album in 2014. Songs from the album SUSTO include 'Black River Gospel,' 'Acid Boys,' and 'Dream Girl.' It received positive reviews from critics and helped establish the band's reputation for heartfelt songwriting.

In 2017, the band released their second album 'I Am Fine Today.' This album is over an hour long with 18 songs that include 'Far Out Feeling,' 'Hard Drugs,' 'Waves,' 'Mountain Top,' and 'Mystery Man.' SUSTO also toured with the Lumineers during 2017 as well.

SUSTO released another album, 'Stories,' in 2018. This album is quite unique. To support the album, Justin did a series of solo shows. Osborne, along with many contributors, continued with a solo project on a third SUSTO album. The album was titled 'Ever Since I Lost My Mind.' There are 12 songs on this album which include 'Homeboy,' 'If I Was,' and 'Weather Balloons.' SUSTO released this album in 2019. This album went to number ten on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart.

In 2020, SUSTO performed at the Royal American, Charleston, South Carolina, and released a live album in 2021 titled 'Rogue Acoustic (Live from the Royal American, Charleston, South Carolina).' This album has 10 songs on it. In October 2021, the band also released 'Time in the Sun.' This was SUSTO's fourth album. It has eleven songs that include 'Time, Love & Fun,' 'Get Down,' and 'Good Right Now.'

The band released their 5th album, 'My Entire Life,' in July 2023. This album has twelve songs that include 'Rock On,' 'Tina,' and 'Cowboys.' SUSTO poured their heart, soul, and life experiences into this album. With this record, they share while in life there is chaos, heartbreak, anxiety, and pain, there is also a lot of hope, joy, and light and a reason to 'keep living.' This album is arguably their best album to date.

Throughout SUSTO's decade-long musical journey, they have maintained their independent spirit and DIY approach to music-making. They've maintained creative control over their work and have built a loyal fan base through grassroots efforts and relentless touring.

We are excited to continue to follow SUSTO and bring any new updates on projects or music that are released in the future.
