"Church of the Cosmic Skull from the beautiful city of Nottingham, UK."

Today, we bring you Church of the Cosmic Skull, a band that was started in 2016 by Bill Fisher and a group of musicians who had performed and written music in numerous other bands in the Nottingham area. Bill had an ear for the type of sound he wanted the band to have, but he also wanted the group to have strong songwriting skills. The band members are Bill Fisher - guitar, vocals; Joanne Joyce - vocals; Caroline Cawley - vocals; Michael Wetherburn - keyboards, vocals; Martyn Fisher - guitar; Sam Lloyd - bass; and Laurence Stone - drums. The group was influenced by bands like The Beatles, Queen, and Thin Lizzy.

Church of the Cosmic Skull released their first album, Is Satan Real?, in September 2016. This album had seven songs on it, including "Mountain Heart," "Black Slug," and "Answers In Your Soul." On August 21, 2017, during a solar eclipse, the band celebrated the "hallucinatory nature of reality" by releasing the song "Evil In Your Eye" from their first album. In September 2018, Magnetic Eye Records released a tribute album to Pink Floyd titled The Wall Redux, and Church of the Cosmic Skull contributed a cover of the Pink Floyd song, "The Trial."

In May 2018, the band released another album titled Science Fiction. This album has nine songs on it, including "Go By The River," "Cold Sweat," and "The Others." The group is known for their seven-part harmony. Church of the Cosmic Skull has attracted interest from record labels, but they have decided to remain independent.

Church of the Cosmic Skull released their next album Everybody's Going To Die in November 2019. This album has ten songs on it, including "Fantasy," "Don't You Believe In Magic," and "Seven." The album was well-received. The band then began working on their next album, There Is No Time, which has eight tracks, including "Seven Rays Of Color," "One More Step," and "Now's The Time."

Now, here we are in 2024, eagerly awaiting to see what Church of the Cosmic Skull brings us next!
