A Decade of Raw Energy: The Nude Party’s Journey Continues

The Nude Party, a seven-piece rock band originally from North Carolina and now based in New York, continues to make incredible music. Known for their blend of garage rock, psychedelic blues, and Americana, the band has built a strong reputation over the past decade with their performances and music catalog.
Their album, Rides On, released on March 10, 2023, marked a significant milestone as their third full-length project and their first self-produced effort. Recorded in a barn-turned-studio in the Catskills with engineer Matthew Horner, the album features 14 tracks that showcase their growth, dabbling in everything from ‘70s-inspired blues rock to a darker, electric cover of Dr. John’s “Somebody Tryin’ to Hoodoo Me.” Critics and fans alike have praised Rides On as their most cohesive and organic work to date, reflecting a matured sound that still retains the raw, carefree spirit of their early days.
Since the release of Rides On, The Nude Party has been active on the touring circuit. They embarked on an extensive tour across the USA and Europe in 2023, including notable stops like the Music Hall of Williamsburg in May 2023. Looking ahead, they have at least one confirmed concert scheduled for 2025–2026, though specific details on additional dates are still emerging. Their live shows remain a draw, with the band having previously supported acts like Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, and Orville Peck, and played major festivals such as Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza.
Most recently, The Nude Party gave us their first release in years—a new single titled “Look Who’s Back,” released on November 6, 2024. It’s another work of art from the group. On April 1, the band appeared on late-night TV. The Nude Party has been announcing many shows, including one on May 23 in New York City with Shilpa Ray in the supporting role.
