Originating from Florence, Mississippi, the Weeks have been showcasing their vibrant mix of traditional rock infused with Southern flair since 2006. The band was founded by five young musicians: Cain Barnes, Chaz Lindsay, Cyle Barnes, Damien Bone, and Samuel Williams. At the time of their formation, the members were between the ages of 14 and 16, demonstrating impressive artistic abilities at such a young age.

Shortly after forming, they signed a recording contract with Esperanza Plantation, which led to the release of their debut album, Comeback Cadillac, in July 2008. This album, a unique blend of Southern rock and alternative music, helped them stand out among their contemporaries. A notable highlight of the album was the captivating duet with fellow artist and labelmate Allie Peden on the track "Sailor Song," which became a fan favorite.

In 2009, building on the momentum of their debut, the band released their first extended play (EP), Rumspringa, which further established their presence in the music industry and expanded their creative repertoire. This release showcased their evolving sound and artistic vision, capturing the interest of both critics and listeners alike. After some lineup changes, the band transformed into a dynamic four-piece featuring the talented Barnes twins and Bone and Williams. This shift led them to the vibrant music scene of Nashville, Tennessee.

In March 2011, they returned to their roots in Water Valley, Mississippi, where they had the fantastic opportunity to work with skilled producer Winn McElroy at Black Wings Studio. There, they crafted eight captivating tracks for their 12-inch EP, Gutter Gaunt Gangster, which delighted fans upon its release on October 11, 2011, through Esperanza Plantation.

Over the next six months, they embarked on an exhilarating tour with bands such as Junior Astronomers, Local H, North Mississippi All-Stars, Sol Cat, and The Meat Puppets. Their journey continued as they signed with Kings of Leon's label, Serpents and Snakes, re-releasing Gutter Gaunt Gangster on September 25, 2012. They further captivated audiences with their second full-length album, Dear Bo Jackson, in 2013, followed by Easy in 2017, Two Moons in the summer of 2019, and Twisted Rivers in 2020.

The Weeks continue to showcase their unique sound, demonstrating their ability to produce high-quality Southern rock 'n' roll. As they grow and explore new musical horizons, fans are excited to see what the future holds for this talented band.
