The Deslondes, Americana five piece band from New Orleans, Louisiana. They have been entertaining audiences with their soulful blend of country, folk, rock, and blues since they formed in 2012. Their music is deeply rooted in the rich musical traditions of the American South and is characterized by its heartfelt lyrics and exemplary musicianship. The band's story began in the vibrant musical scene of New Orleans, where members Dan Cutler (vocals/bass), Sam Doores (vocals/guitar), Riley Downing (vocals/guitar), Cameron Snyder (vocals/drums), and John James Tourville (fiddle) found common ground in their shared love for music.

The Deslondes' music is a mix of different styles from American musical history. Their early work showcased an energetic sound, like of classic rock and roll. However, as they matured as musicians, their style grew to include parts of country, folk, and blues, resulting in a more refined and polished sound. Their songwriting, often inward-looking and poetic that explores a wide variety of many different themes. In 2015, The Deslondes released their self titled debut album. This album has 12 songs on it that include "Fought the Blues and Won," "Heavenly Home," "Low Down Soul," "Still Someone," "Same Blood as Mine," and "Out on the Rise." This album introduced the band and teir energy and sound and helped them to build their fanbase. The band released their second album titled Hurry Home in 2017. This album has 13 tracks on it that include "Muddy Water," "One Of These Lonesome Mornings," "Every Well," "Ribbon Creekside," "Hurricane Shakedown," and Beautiful Friend." This album deepened the band's reputation for authenticity and secured a spot in the Americana music scene as a group with both appeal and forward-looking creativity.

The Deslondes released their third album in 2022 titled Ways & Means. This album has 14 songs on it that include "Good to Go," "Five Year Plan," "South Dakota Wild One," "Howl at the Moon," "Home Again," "Tomorrow Morning," "Sweet Release," and "Hero." This album shows the bands ability to grow while staying true to their roots. The band's latest album titled Roll It Out was released in September 2024. This album has 13 songs on it that include "Hold On Liza," "Take Me Back," "Find The Ground," "Poor Another Round," "Mercury On Parade," and "Drifter's Wife." This album has been well received by their fanbase.

The Deslondes have received widespread acclaim for their music. Their albums have been praised for their songwriting, musicianship, and production. The band has also gained a dedicated following, with their live performances consistently drawing enthusiastic crowds. The band's impact extends beyond their own music. They have collaborated with numerous other artists, both within and outside the Americana genre. Their influence can be heard in the work of younger bands who are carrying on the tradition of Americana music.
