Ash Grunwald, born Ashley Mark Groenewald on September 5, 1976, in Melbourne, Australia, is a modern blues musician who has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide with his energy, soulful vocals, and amazing guitar skills. His unique blend of blues, rock, and roots music has marked his place as one of Australia's most influential and beloved musicians. Grunwald's musical path began at a young age. He was inspired by his grandfather, who introduced him to the guitar and bass. Ash and his grandfather record his first song which was a cover of Howlin' Wolf's "Going Down Slow".

As a teenager, he took a deeper dive into the genre, tuning into blues programs on Melbourne's community radio stations. His fascination with storytelling through music is clear, and he often reflects that his early love for the blues was sparked by its emotional depth and honesty. Grunwald's early musical experiences included playing in various bands, such as the Blue Grunwalds and the Groove Catalysts. These bands provided him with valuable experiences to sharpen his skills and develop his own sound. In 2002, Grunwald released his debut solo album titled Introducing Ash Grunwald. This album showcased his talent, style, and his songwriting skills. He released his next album titled I Don't Believe in 2004. This album has 14 tracks on it that include "Everyday," "Whispering Voice," "How Many More Years," "Dangerous Ground," and "Walking Blues." This album helped him to gain a following.

Ash released his next album titled Give Signs in 2006. This album has 12 songs on it that include "Serious," "Money," "Think Tank," "Do It Now," and "Bottled Water." This album showed him as a continuing rising star! In 2008, he released his album titled Fish Out Of Water. This album has 12 tracks on it that include "Can You Find Away," "Give Something Away," "Joke On Me," "Working Hard," "Get What You Want," and "Shake." This album was very well received by Grunwald's fans.

In 2010, Grunwald released his next album titled Hot Mama Vibes. This album has 13 songs on it that include "Walking," "Tear Of The Roof," "Hot Mama," "Mind Playing Tricks," "Never Let You Go," and "Parents." This album shows his skills as a talented song writer. He released his next album titled Trouble's Door in 2012. This album has 12 tracks on it that include "The Demon In Me," "Shake That Thing," "Sail," Ramblin' Man," "Telling Lies," and "What You Had." This album was well liked by fans and critics alike.

Ash Grunwald released his next album titled Now in 2015. This album has 11 songs on it that include "River," "It Don't Belong to You," "Jack," "In The Middle," "Second Guess," "Send Me," "The Least Among Us." This album resonated with fans worldwide. In 2022, he released his next album titled Shout Into The Noise. This album has 10 tracks on it that include "I Want You To Know," "Surrender," "Let Me Go," "Chains," "Tell It Like It Is," "Way Too Long." This album has solidified Ash Grunwald's place on the music Australian music scene.
