“A Rock Supergroup's Epic Journey and Legacy"

The Dead Daisies is a rock supergroup formed in 2012, known for its hard rock and classic rock influences. The band was founded by Australian musician David Lowy, a guitarist with a rich history in rock music. The Dead Daisies has seen numerous lineup changes over the years, with many renowned rock musicians joining and leaving the group. Despite these changes, the band has maintained a consistent sound and a dedicated fan base.

David Lowy, a seasoned guitarist, and businessman, envisioned The Dead Daisies as a dynamic and evolving rock band. He teamed up with Jon Stevens, a former lead singer of INXS, to form the initial lineup. The band's debut single, "Lock 'N' Load," featured the legendary Slash on guitar, which immediately garnered attention in the rock community. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2013, showcasing a blend of classic rock with modern influences.

In 2013, The Dead Daisies released their self titled debut album. This album has 12 songs on it that include "It's Gonna Take Time," "Lock 'N' Load," "Can't Fight This Feeling," and "Talk To Me." The group performed at the Uproar Festival along with Jane's Addiction, Alice in Chains, and many others. With casts on his arm and leg, Jon Stevens STILL performed as lead singer. Jon got these injuries while on a fishing trip where he escaped from a crocodile in Australia. WOW!! Now that is determination!!

In 2014 some changes in the band's lineup were made. The new line-up was Lowy, Stevens, Richard Fortus and Dizzy Reed from Guns N' Roses, Marco Mendoza, a renowned bassist known for his work with Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake. The Dead Daisies went on their first headlining tour in Australia and two US tour with Bad Company, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kiss and Def Leppard in 2014. They released an EP Face I Love with four new recordings, including "Face I Love", "Angel in Your Eyes", "Your Karma", and a cover of the Beatles' "Helter Skelter".

This album has 15 songs on it that include "Mexico," "Looking For The One," "Get Up, Get Ready," "Leave The Truth Behind," and "Last Night." This album was heavily influenced by a trip the band made to Cuba. This album marked a significant expansion in their sound, incorporating more diverse musical elements. The group spent a big portion of 2015 touring in Europe, the US, Australia and joined Whitesnake in Moscow, Russia.

The Arizona Cardinals used the band's song "Make Some Noise" as their touchdown song. They also performed in Japan for the first time.

In 2017, The Dead Daisies released "Live & Louder," a live album that captured the raw energy of their performances. This was followed by their fourth studio album, "Burn It Down," in 2018. "Burn It Down" received critical acclaim for its powerful riffs, catchy melodies, and strong vocal performances by John Corabi. The band toured extensively during this period, playing major festivals like Download and Rock in Rio, and supporting acts like KISS and Whitesnake. In 2019, the band released their next album titled Locked and Loaded (The Covers Album). This album has 10 songs on it that are all covers from various artists.
