"A Musical Adventure and A Story of Sisterhood and Success"

Jennifer and Jessica Clavin, two sisters from Los Angeles, CA, formed their band Bleached in 2011. Both sisters came from the former band Mika Miko. Shortly after formation in 2011, they released three singles, each with two songs. The first is titled "Carter." The two songs are "Think Of You" and "You Take Time." The second is titled "Francis" with the two songs "No Friend Of Mine" and "Dazed." The third single is titled "Searching Through The Past" b/w "Electric Chair." The two songs are "Searching Through The Past" and "Electric Chair."

In April 2013, Bleached released their first 12-song album titled Ride Your Heart Out via Dead Oceans record label. Tracks from this album include "Looking For A Fight," "Next Stop," and "Dead In Your Head." This album went to number 18 on the Billboard magazine Heatseekers Albums chart. They were later joined by bassist Micayla Grace, formerly of the band Leopold and His Fiction in 2014 and then Nick Pilot in 2016. Both would later leave the band.

Bleached released an EP in 2014 with three songs, "For The Feel," "Poison Ivy," and "Born To Kill." Both sisters and Micayla decided to rent a cottage in Joshua Tree, California to work on their next album. While there, they wrote songs about the changes they have experienced in life, the ups and downs, as well as the heartaches along the way. The trio came away from this retreat with their second album Welcome The Worm. This ten-track album was released in 2016. Songs from this album include "Keep On Moving," "Trying To Lose Myself Again," and "Sleepwalking." This album went to number 15 on Heatseekers Albums.

In 2017, the group released another EP titled Can You Deal. The four songs on it are "Flipside," "Can You Deal," "Turn To Rage," and "Dear Trouble." The Clavin sisters went to work on their third album, writing songs in both Los Angeles, CA, and Nashville, TN. On this album, the sisters wrote about their experiences on their road to sobriety. With that, Bleached released their album Don't You Think You've Had Enough, in July 2019. This album has 12 songs on it that include "Heartbeat Away," "Hard To Kill," and "Daydream."

The band released two singles in 2020, "Stupid Boys" was released in October and "Jingle Bells" was released in November. The Clavin sisters have been involved in other musical projects outside of Bleached. Jennifer released music with her former band, Mika Miko, and has also pursued a solo career under the moniker Jennifer Clavin. Jessica has been involved in various musical collaborations and side projects as well. They released the single "Flip It" in October 2022.

Bleached has toured extensively both domestically and internationally, performing at various music festivals and venues around the world. They are known for their catchy melodies, energetic performances, and DIY spirit, which has garnered them a dedicated fan base everywhere. We will watch with excitement to see what comes next.
