"twelve to twenty four rundown"

In 2012, two high school friends from Louisville, Kentucky, Tony Esposito and Nick Wilkerson, both 17 years old, formed White Reaper. Tony performed on the guitar and handled vocal duties, while Nick was on the drums. Two demos were made by the pair in 2012. The demos were titled DEMO 2012 and WHITE AURA. On Earthbound Records, the duo released, in 2013, a 7" with the songs "The Cut" and "Conspirator." Sam Wilkerson, who also happens to be Nick's twin brother, joined the duo on bass. Soon after, an old friend of Tony's, Ryan Hater, on keys joined the band. With these additions, White Reaper is now a 4-piece band.

In 2014, the band signed with the independent record label Polyvinyl Records. Under this label, on June 24, 2014, they released their debut album titled White Reaper. Songs from this EP include "Cool," "Half Bad," and "She Wants To." Under Polyvinyl Records label, the band released White Reaper Does It Again on July 17, 2015. This is their first studio album. There are 12 songs on this album including "Make Me Wanna Die," "On Your Mind," and "Last Fourth Of July."

With the addition of guitarist Hunter Thompson in 2016, White Reaper became a 5-piece band. The band went right to work to release their next album The World's Best American Band. Tracks from this album are "The World's Best American Band," "Eagle Beach," and "Little Silver Cross." This album has ten songs on it and was released on April 7, 2017. Weezer and Billy Idol had White Reaper perform as their opening acts while touring in 2018. The band also had a performance at South by Southwest (SXSW) in 2018 as well.

White Reaper changed record labels and signed with Elektra Records in 2019. Under this new label, the group went to work on their third studio album. This album was titled You Deserve Love and was released on October 18, 2019. There are ten songs on this album which include "Headwind," "Might Be Right," and "You Deserve Love." "Might Be Right" topped the charts on US Hot Rock Songs and US Alternative Songs. In December 2019, White Reaper played "Might Be Right" and "Real Long Time" on the late-night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live.

In 2020, the band released three EPs: Might Be Right (At Home), Only A Shadow, and Raw (At Home). White Reaper went on to release a single on September 10, 2021, titled "Headwind." For the charity tribute album The Metallica Blacklist, the group performed a Metallica song, "Sad But True," which was also released in September 2021.

On January 27, 2023, White Reaper released their fourth and latest album Asking For A Ride. While working on this album, the band was filled with high energy from their live performances and wanted it to show through the songs on this album. The album has 10 songs on this album including "Fog Machine," "Getting Into Trouble W/The Boss," and "Pink Slip."

We are so very excited here at Soundwave Music Media to see what White Reaper has in store for us in 2024!!
