Arcy Drive is an up-and-coming indie rock band from Northport, New York. The band is made up of four childhood friends, Nick Mateyunas (vocals/guitar), Brooke Tuozzo (drums), Austin Jones (guitar), and Patrick Helrigel (bass). Their sound is something they call "Attic Rock," a mix of rock music that feels like it was made in a cozy, old attic. The band started when Nick and Austin joked about forming a band. They decided to include Brooke as the drummer, even though they were unsure about having a girl in the band at first, and Brooke by the way, is a kick ass "girl" drummer! Later, Austin asked his friend Patrick to learn bass guitar, and when he did, the band was complete.

The band got their start in Brooke's backyard in a shed on Arcy Drive (yes, that’s where they got their name!). They started out just playing music for fun, but their unique sound and chemistry quickly gained attention, and before they knew it, they were performing for real audiences. Arcy Drive blends elements of classic rock, alternative, and indie music, creating a sound that’s both refreshing and timeless. Their songs often have an unpolished feel, like something you’d hear at a great backyard jam session with family and friends.

Arcy Drive started out traveling around to gigs in a 1989 Toyota van that broke down here and there but they eventually found an old school bus that they fixed up and added their own personal touch to and began touring around the United States in it. They would add memorabilia from different venues as they toured the country. Brooke convinced the guys (who were not down with the idea at first) to share their music videos on TikTok and once shared they created a following.

In 2022, the band released their single titled "Roll The Stone." This single was well received and helped the band to build their following. Arcy Drive released their EP titled Beach Plum in 2023. This EP has 5 tracks on it that include "Superbloomer," "Liquor Lips," and :"Wicked Styley." This Ep showed the bands growth. In 2024, Arcy Drive released the singles "Under The Rug" and "Louie." Both have become fan favorites! They released their latest single "Oak Tree(Daydresm) in January 2025. This song continues to define their indie rock style.

What started as small local gigs has turned into performances at bigger venues and festivals, where their energy and connection with the crowd shine through. Arcy Drive is one of those rare bands that bring an old-school rock spirit into the modern indie scene. Their musical path started from playing in a shed to gaining national attention, is a true underdog story, and their music is full of spirit, heart and passion.
