Naomi Hamilton's first chapters

(Artist Report)

Written by: Cody Denning

Today we are reporting on Naomi Hamilton. The Irish indie artist, the creative soul behind the band Jealous Of The Birds. Recently Naomi released a new album titled Peninsula. This album is not your typical shallow, corporate-fed fluff. This is deep, introspective, thought-provoking music that challenges you to think about the world around you, however the instrumental aspect will take you a way with its indie rock psychedelic vibe.

Naomi Hamilton first made herself known with her debut album, Parma Violets. It was raw, honest, and deeply reflective, a refreshing change to the indie scene a mellow edgy sound we have not yet seen. Since then, Hamilton has evolved, releasing EPs like The Moths Of What I Want Will Eat Me In My Sleep. a title that alone tells you she’s not here to play the game by the rules. She’s an artist, not a product.

And now we have Peninsula. This album takes everything we loved about her earlier work and pushes it further. She’s not sticking to the safe, acoustic folk sound that so many indie artists cling to. She’s exploring more complex, psychedelic, and electronic elements. Why? Because she’s an actual artist with something to say. She’s not afraid to take risks, to evolve.

Let’s not forget her live performances. When Naomi Hamilton steps on stage, it’s not just a concert. It’s an experience. She connects with her audience in a way that few artists do these days. There’s no pretense, no scripted speeches. It’s real, it’s raw, and it resonates deeply with the people lucky enough to witness it.

Naomi Hamilton’s work as Jealous Of The Birds represents the rare rock and roll sprit and authenticity. She’s tapping into a conversation about identity, human experience, and the environment that many are too scared or too busy to have. She’s making art that matters. And that’s precisely we had to bring you the story.
