A Duo from Austin, with a edgy 60's sound

2011 began the story of the Austin, Texas band The Ghost Wolves. Forming a modern southern rock sound, the band became rooted in the Texas music scene and known around the world as an incredible rock duo.

Carley Wolf (guitar & vocals) and Jonathan Konya (drums & vocals) make up this effort. Drawing inspiration from the sounds of the 60s and 70s, the band's sound has been compared to The White Stripes and other big names. Quickly getting to work, on August 9th, 2011, The Ghost Wolves released their debut EP “In Ya Neck,” giving us some of the band's most popular songs like “Gonna Live.” This song would be seen again in the band's 2014 album “Man, Woman, Beast.”

Demonstrating their dedication to rock 'n' roll, The Ghost Wolves pressed on, creating and releasing multiple singles and heading out on some of the band's first tours. By 2017, the band had recorded their second studio album “Texa$ Platinum.” Released on April 21st, 2017, this album contained hard-hitting material that would fuel the band's fan base.

The band's 2019 EP “Crooked Cop” would be the release that led The Ghost Wolves in a new direction, using their music to deliver a message. While not taking anything away from the band's edgy vintage tone, lyrically, the band turned their focus to situations going on in the United States and world events. Songs like “Oval Room” and “WWIII,” released in 2020, would only extend on the duo's anti-war stance and expression.

Two years later, in 2022, we would see two incredible albums in one year. “Never Die” came out on June 10th, featuring ripping songs like “Piece of 8.” With this album came a growth in sound, diving deeper into the band’s psychedelic undertones. Later in 2022, The Ghost Wolves released their second album of the year, “WOLFKEEPER.” This album held six new songs and six live cuts of songs from previous albums.

With a now massive collection of music, the band hit the road, air, and sea, performing their hand-picked favorites and exposing the world to rock 'n' roll. In the most recent news, on May 17, 2024, The Ghost Wolves released a new single titled “Back Against The Wall.” This track has shown to be a fan favorite, reaching the number two spot among the band's songs on Spotify.
