"New album released March 2024, Revival of Southern Rock from Charlotte, NORTH Carolina"

Preacher Stone is a Southern Rock band that came on the music scene in the late 2000s. They began making waves in the music industry with their unique blend of rock, country, and blues. Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, the band has found their distinct niche in the Southern Rock genre, drawing comparisons to legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers Band, Molly Hatchet and ZZ Top.

The band was founded by Marty Hill (guitarist) and Ronnie Riddle (vocalist) in 2008. The two musicians shared a vision of creating music that resonated with the spirit of the South, blending storytelling lyrics with powerful rock riffs. Their chemistry was evident from the start, and they quickly began writing and recording songs that captured the essence of Southern Rock. The band's name, Preacher Stone, reflects their dual commitment to rock 'n' roll and the Southern way of life. "Preacher" suggests a dedication to their message and craft, while "Stone" symbolizes the solid, unyielding nature of their music.

Preacher Stone members include: Ronnie Riddle (lead vocals), Marty Riddle (lead guitar), Ben Robinson (lead guitar), Johnny Webb (keyboards), Josh Wyatt (drums), and Jim Bolt (bass). Preacher Stone's music is a testament to the enduring appeal of Southern Rock. Their sound is characterized by: Ronnie's voice is both powerful and soulful, reminiscent of classic Southern Rock vocalists. His delivery is heartfelt and brings authenticity to their songs. Marty's guitar work is a standout feature of the band. They draw heavily from personal experiences and Southern culture, creating relatable and engaging narratives with their lyrics.

In 2009, the band released their first self titled album. This album has 10 songs on it that include "Not Today," "Brother's Keeper," "Blood From A Stone," and "Southern Hospitality." The song "Not Today" was used in two seasons of the tv series Sons of Anarchy. Preacher Stone released their second album titled Uncle Buck's Vittles. This album has 11 tracks that include "Can't Keep A Good Man Down," "Nuff Said," "I'll Be Damned," and "Come Together." This album continued to build on the foundation laid by their debut album and helped them continue to build their fan base.

Preacher Stone rereleased their third album titled Paydirt in 2014. This album has 11 songs on it that include "Day Late," "Meet My Maker," "Me And Mine," and "All You Know." This album continued to showcase the band’s evolving sound. In 2016, the band signed a management with Alien Entertainment. They released their fourth album titled Remedy in 2016. This album has 11 tracks on it that include "Blue Collar Son," "Living The Dream," "Silence Is Golden," and "Levi's Song." The songs on this album reflect a deeper exploration of Southern themes and a broader range of musical influences.

The band have toured and supported bands like Blackberry Smoke, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, and Marshall Tucker. In March 2024, Preacher Stone released their fifth album V. This album has 10 songs on it that include "It Ain't Easy As It Looks," "Damage Is Done," "Rise Up," and "Home." This album has been well received among critics and fans alike. Sadly, on January 2 2024, the band lost their keyboard player, Johnny Webb. Thoughts and Prayers go up for Preacher Stone members and Johnny's family.

Their music resonates with fans old and new, ensuring that the spirit of Southern Rock lives on. As they continue to write, record, and perform, Preacher Stone is poised to leave an enduring legacy in the world of rock music.
