"Flying straight out of the college town of Athens, Georgia, we bring you Futurebirds."

Futurebirds is an American rock band known for their unique blend of folk, southern rock, and psychedelic rock influences. Formed in Athens, Georgia in 2008, the band has garnered attention for their atmospheric soundscapes, rich harmonies, and introspective songwriting.

What started out as a four-member band formed by Daniel Womack, Carter King, Payton Bradford, and Thomas Johnson originally in 2008, has now become a seven-member band. The current members of the band are: Thomas Johnson (guitar/vocals), Spencer Thomas (keyboard), Carter King (guitar/vocals), Brannen Miles (bass), Daniel Womack (guitar/vocals), Tom Myers (drums), and Kiffy Myers (pedal steel guitar). It is so interesting how in sync this band is. It really is mind-blowing!

Futurebirds released their first album "Hamptons's Lullaby" in 2010. This album has 11 songs on it that include "Johnny Utah," "There Is No Place To Go," and "Battle For Rome." The band quickly gained traction in the Athens music scene with their captivating live performances and distinctive sound. Drawing inspiration from artists like Neil Young, My Morning Jacket, and Wilco, Futurebirds developed a sound that defies easy categorization, blending elements of folk, country, and rock with a psychedelic twist.

In 2012, they released the album "Seny-Stovall." This album has 8 songs on it that include "Wicked Game," "Megachills," and "Red Top Girl." The band released their next album "Baba Yoga" in January 2013. This album has 13 songs on it that include "Virginia Slims," "Serial Bowls," "Death Awaits," and "Heavy Weights." This album was very well received.

Futurebirds continued to play shows, write music, and build their fan base. In September 2015, the band released their next album titled "Hotel Parties." This one has 11 tracks on it that include "Paranoia Letters," "Paper Tongues," "Rodeo," and "Let It All Loose." This album further solidified Futurebirds' reputation as one of rock's most promising acts as they expand on their signature sound while exploring new sonic territory.

The band released an EP titled "Portico I" in 2017. "Here For Your Love" and "Bad Man" are two of the four songs on this EP. In 2018, they released another four-song EP titled "Portico II." "Big A" and "Voices Carry" are a couple of songs from this EP. These twin EPs showcase Futurebirds' versatility and songwriting evolution.

Futurebirds released their album titled "Teamwork" in January 2020. This LP has 12 songs on it that include "Teamwork Runs The Game," "Trippin'," "All Damn Night," and "Waiting On A Call." This album received positive reviews for its cohesive sound along with the reflective and thoughtful lyrics. In 2022, the band worked with their friend and guitarist Carl Bromel on a new album. Carl is the guitarist with the band, My Morning Jacket. Futurebirds and Carl released the seven-song album titled "Bloomin' Too" in September 2022. Songs from this album include "Buffet Days," "The Creeper," and "Easier Said."

Just in time for Halloween, the band released their next album titled "Ghoulin' Around" in October 2023. Tracks from this LP include "Vampire Nights," "Demons Inside," "Ghost With A Boner," and "I Walked With A Zombie." Once again, Futurebirds did not disappoint their fan base with this album. Fans loved the haunting harmonies and the humor that they put into this album. The band then released a live album titled "Thanks Y'all" in December 2023. Just WOW! This album has 22 LIVE songs on it!! The band again worked with Carl Bromel on this LP.

Elliott BROOD

Elliott Brood, often stylized as Elliott BROOD, is a Canadian band formed in 2002. The band's inception can be traced back to the collaboration between Mark Sasso and Casey Laforet, who initially met at Humber College in Toronto. Their mutual interest in storytelling through music and a shared admiration for roots and folk music laid the foundation for what would become Elliott Brood. The band's name, Elliott Brood, is a pseudonym inspired by Sasso's fascination with the character Elliott from the film "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" and the word "brood," which conveys a sense of dark contemplation that often pervades their music.
