"From Highschool to hero"

Today we the story a band from Cardiff Wales That goes by the name of HIMALAYAS. This crew got started with two teenagers, Joe Williams and Mike Griffith, rocking small venues in Wales, both armed with killer vocals and a good set of guitar skills. These guys quickly caught the eye of fans, bringing them more opportunities and creating a proper following. But the story don’t end there.

After joining forces with drummer James Goulbourn and bassist Louis Heaps, the crew formed The HIMALAYAS. Heavily influenced by a list of bands from the Beatles to Queens Of The Stone these guys express their love for rock and roll. The band got to work on a some demos and by august 24th, 2016, the HIMALAYAS made their national debut with the release of “Ecstasy”

HIMALAYAS got a huge response in 2017 when they released their single “Thank God I’m Not You,” Getting aired on tv and radio play, By 2018 the crew struck a deal with The Dark Horse Agency, It was then the band began showing their abilities to play massive tours, tearing up festivals and venues and anything in their path.

After leaving their former record label in 2019. The band independently produced the song “The Masquerade” and went on the Jonnie Walker show and announced the release of the single. In 2020 the HiMALAYAS signed to Wild Music Management, famous for working with Manic Street Preachers, AC/DC, and others.

In a whirlwind of excitement and rock 'n' roll prowess, the HIMALAYAS went on to play sell out shows and festivals sharing the stage with heavy hitters like Stereophonics and Manic Street Preachers, ending out their 2021 year in London.

In May 2022,Taking to their social media platforms with a game-changing announcement, the HIMALAYAS revealed that they had secured a monumental worldwide record deal with Nettwerk Records, sending shockwaves through the music industry and solidifying their status as rising stars on the global stage.

With their trajectory set for the stratosphere, Himalayas wasted no time. On May 12, 2023, they dropped their highly anticipated debut album, 'From Hell To Here,' Produced in Wales by Steffan Pringle and mixed in LA by Grammy winner Dave Sardy? a collection of raw, unbridled tracks that really dig deep into the bands roots. In a move that had fans buzzing with anticipation, the band was announced as the support act for the legendary Foo Fighters at the iconic Principality Stadium in June 2024, marking a monumental milestone in their Artist Career.

As if that weren't enough to set pulses racing, HIMALAYAS gave us something new on March 1st 2024, with the release of their electrifying single, 'V.O.V.' This powerhouse track, a collaboration with none other than Brian Johnson of AC/DC. This sent shockwaves through the industry and cemented the band's reputation as a crew that is pushing the boundaries of rock music. Produced by the acclaimed Dan Lancaster, 'V.O.V' is a incredibly piece of rock and roll. Cheers to the HIMALAYAS dedication to their craft and indelible success. May this only be the beginning
