Radio Moscow, El Parro and the career of Parker Griggs.

We're diving into the psychedelic rock scene and shining the spotlight on the talented Parker Griggs and his bands Radio Moscow and El Perro. These dudes are seriously putting out some mind-blowing music that will make your brain melt.

Let's start with Radio Moscow. Hailing from Story City, Iowa, these guys have been rocking our faces off since 2003. Parker Griggs and Serana Rose formed this powerhouse, With their mix of psychedelic rock, blues rock, and just some downright dirty garage rock, these guys don't mess around. Always adding a little something extra to every set. You never know what to expect.

They've released a whopping five studio albums so far, and they've blown minds across the United States and Europe with their explosive live performances. Griggs's guitar riffs will knock you off your feet, Rose's soulful vocals will send shivers down your spine, and their rhythm section is as tight as a gorilla in a straitjacket.

Their debut album, aptly titled 'Radio Moscow,' was released in 2007 and was produced by none other than Dan Auerbach from The Black Keys. Critics ate that shit up like a pack of hungry wolves on a fresh kill. They couldn't get enough of that raw, unfiltered rock 'n' roll sound.

In 2009, they unleashed 'Brain Cycles,' a self-produced masterpiece that continued their psychedelic and bluesy madness. Then, in 2011, they released 'The Great Escape of Leslie Magnafuzz,' again produced by Auerbach. This one had a more polished sound, showing off the band's growth and evolution.

But they didn't stop there, man. In 2014, they released 'Magical Dirt,' another Auerbach-produced gem that took their sound even further. And just when you think they've hit their peak, boom! In 2017, they hit us with 'New Beginnings,' featuring a more experimental and mind-bending psychedelic sound. These guys never cease to amaze.

Griggs is a musical force to be reckoned with, my friends. In 2019, he formed a side project that's funkier and and more psychedelic is El Perro. This band takes psychedelic rock and injects it with a serious dose of funk. Griggs teamed up with another guitarist and a percussionist to create a sound like no other.

Their debut album, 'Hair Of El Perro,' dropped in 2022, and let me tell ya, it's a funky, trippy journey through the stratosphere. Griggs and Shawn Davis produced this bad boy, and critics couldn't get enough. They praised the band's fresh sound and their ability to take psychedelic rock to a whole new level.

Both Radio Moscow and El Perro have been tearing up stages across the United States and Europe. These guys don't just play music, they deliver an experience. Their shows are packed with energy, and they're not afraid to let loose and jam out. Do your self a favor, get lost in the sonic waves these dudes create and look out for them when they come to town.
