This project will delve into Berry's profound influence on music and culture, showcasing how his pioneering spirit fundamentally transformed the rock and roll genre. Chuck Berry, who passed away in 2017, was not only a musical icon but also a revolutionary figure whose impact resonates throughout modern music and culture.

Themetta Berry, the singer-guitarist’s widow, expressed her enthusiasm about collaborating with Revelations, stating that she, along with her children and grandchildren, is thrilled to see this story come to life. She highlighted the duo's commitment to presenting significant stories authentically as a key reason for partnering with them. This project is envisioned as a meaningful tribute to Charles, commemorating the CHUCK100 celebration.

The CHUCK100 features a series of events that started in Berry’s hometown of St. Louis and aims to include tribute events, new music releases, and various activities leading up to his 100th birthday on October 18, 2026. The initial phase was kicked off at the Chuck Berry House of Evolution Festival last month, showcasing a collection of memorabilia from his illustrious career, including one of his famous Cadillacs, along with video presentations that highlighted his significant influence on music. This event is part of a broader initiative to celebrate Berry's legacy through music, storytelling, and cultural tributes.

With timeless hits like “Johnny B. Goode,” “Maybellene,” and “Roll Over Beethoven,” Berry's exceptional showmanship and guitar skills have left an indelible mark, influencing legendary artists such as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. As Bob Seger famously noted, “all of Chuck’s children are out there, playing his licks.” The team looks forward to having everything ready in time for Berry's centennial celebration.
