Nine Albums And Still Rolling Like A Brother In The Night!

Ladies and gentlemen, Today we are taking about The Weeks. This band has been rocking for 18 years. Hailing from Florence, Mississippi, USA, this dynamic quintet has a vast sound with their infectious blend of southern rock and alternative vibes.

Formed back in 2006 by the talented Cain Barnes, Chaz Lindsay, Cyle Barnes, Damien Bone, and Samuel Williams - who were mere teenagers at the time - The Weeks wasted no time in showcasing their musical prowess to the world. Signing on with the revered Esperanza Plantation label, the band dropped their debut album, "Comeback Cadillac," in July 2008, setting the stage on fire with songs like the soulful duet "Sailor Song" featuring labelmate Allie Peden. The song “Buttons” still remains their most popular song with fans.

After a series of lineup changes, The Weeks settled into a four-piece ensemble and found their groove in Nashville, Tennessee. Working with acclaimed producer Winn McElroy at Black Wings Studio, they unleashed the electrifying "Gutter Gaunt Gangster" EP in 2011 to rave reviews. In a stroke of luck, the band caught the attention of Kings of Leon's imprint Serpents and Snakes, leading to the re-release of "Gutter Gaunt Gangster" in 2012 and the subsequent drop of their sophomore album, "Dear Bo Jackson," in 2013. This album would grab the attention of fans with their song “Brother in the night” reaching over 5 million plays on Spotify alone.

Fast forward to the present day, and The Weeks show no signs of slowing down. With a discography boasting nine albums, including the recent powerhouse "Twisted River" released in 2020, The weeks have put out multiple Live albums, “Inside the pines 2018” features 12 songs in a full band setting and Adding cherry on top of the cake with their acoustic gem "Inside Voices.” This live album features acoustic versions of many of the fan favorite songs. In 2021 they paid tribute to bands they love and songs they enjoy playing with a cover album "Inside the Covers," featuring hits like "Give Me Three Steps" and "Wolf Like Me,"
