A Giant Dog is a band that has been creating ripples in the rock scene with their explosive sound and high energy. With their contagious energy, sharp songwriting, and a fearless DIY spirit, they have captured the hearts of fans and critics alike. A Giant Dog was formed in 2008 by childhood friends Sabrina Ellis (vocals) and Andrew Cashen (guitar). Both Ellis and Cashen had a deep-rooted passion for music and had been playing together since their teenage years. Their shared love for punk rock, combined with a desire to create something fresh and exciting, led to form A Giant Dog. The lineup was completed by Graham Low on bass, Andy Bauer on drums, and Daniel Blanchard on guitar.

A Giant Dog's music mixes the raw energy of punk rock, the flashy style of glam rock, and the rough sound of garage rock. Their music features Ellis's powerful, raspy singing, Cashen's gritty guitar riffs, and a solid rhythm section. Their songs often deal with themes of love, lust, and human experiences, delivered with urgency and strong emotion. The band's knack for combining catchy tunes with intense rock elements has won them a loyal fan base and praise from critics.

The band has released six albums over the years. In 2012, they released their debut album titled Fight. This album has 15 songs on it that include "Anyway," "Chatterteeth," "Dog Collar Blues," and "Pins n Needles," just to name a few. A Giant Dog released their album titled Pile in 2016. Some songs from this 13 track album include "Creep, "Sleep Ehen Dead," and Falling in Love." This album showed the band continued growth and maturity. In 2023, the band released their latest album titled Bite. It has 9 songs on it that include "Happiness Awaits Inside," I Believe," and "Watch Me Sleeping."
