"New album Set to be released July 26, 2024"

Today we are talking about the American psychedelic rock band Wand that formed in 2013. The current members of the band are Cory Hanson (vocals, guitar), Robert Cody (guitar), Evan Backer (bass), and Evan Burrows (drums). Wand has found a niche for themselves in the rock scene with their melodies, guitar riffs, and their awesome performances. They have built a following that stretches across the globe, and they continue to build their fan base with each show they play and album they release.

Wand released their debut album in August 2014 titled Ganglion Reef. This album has 10 songs on it that include "Clearer," "Broken Candle," "Flying Golem," and "Growing Up Boys." This album served as a bold introduction to their psychedelic musical abilities and unveiled the incredible talent this group displays.

In March 2015, the band released their 9-song album titled Golem. Songs from this album include "Reaper Invert," "Melted Rope," and "Cave In." Wand also released another album in September 2015 titled 1000 Days. This album has 12 songs on it that include "Grave Robber," "Broke Sun," "Sleepy Dog," and "Morning Rainbow." These two albums showed the skill, hard work, and dedication this band is willing to put forth in their musical journey.

Next up, Wand released their next album, a 10-track album titled Plum, in September 2017. Songs from this album include "Setting," "Bee Karma," "High Rise," and "The Trap." This album catapulted them into the limelight where they received great reviews and showed the band's willingness to push boundaries and defy genre labeling.

In April 2019, the band released a 15-song album titled Laughing Matter. WOW! Songs from this album include "Scarecrow," "Walkie Talkie," "Evening Star," and "Lucy Sight." This album was well-received and once again helped Wand grow their fan base. Wand went on to release a 9-song live album titled Spiders in the Rain in October 2022. Songs from this album include "Hare," "White Cat," and "Evening Star."

Beyond their own musical output, Wand's influence can be felt throughout the music landscape. Their fearless approach has inspired a new generation of musicians to push boundaries, while their live performances have garnered them a dedicated global following. Wand's ability to blend elements of the past with a forward-thinking spirit is a testament to the power of psychedelic rock going forward.

Wand is currently on tour and has some shows coming up with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Sneak Peek... Just released on May 7, 2024, a single titled "Smile" from their brand new album, Vertigo, to be released on July 26, 2024. Check back with us for any new updates. We'll be watching...

Elliott BROOD

Elliott Brood, often stylized as Elliott BROOD, is a Canadian band formed in 2002. The band's inception can be traced back to the collaboration between Mark Sasso and Casey Laforet, who initially met at Humber College in Toronto. Their mutual interest in storytelling through music and a shared admiration for roots and folk music laid the foundation for what would become Elliott Brood. The band's name, Elliott Brood, is a pseudonym inspired by Sasso's fascination with the character Elliott from the film "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" and the word "brood," which conveys a sense of dark contemplation that often pervades their music.
