From '07 to current This band has been reaching new heights, Releasing five albums!

 

 


Alright, folks, gather 'round because we're diving into the story of The Revivalists, a wickedly talented American rock band hailing out of New Orleans, Louisiana. These guys got together back in '07, forming an eight-piece powerhouse that's been shaking up the music scene ever since.

The eight-piece band consists of
Ed Williams (pedal steel guitar, guitar)
David Shaw (lead vocals)
Zack Feinberg (guitar)
Rob Ingraham (saxophone)
George Gekas (bass guitar)
Andrew Campanelli (drums and percussion)
Michael Girardot (keyboards and trumpet)
Paulet "PJ" Howard (drums and percussion).

In 2008 they released their first EP. With rocking tracks like “Concrete.” They caught the attention of many the band began building up a following. On March 13th 2010, They Released their debut album “Vital Signs” featuring 12 songs including “Catching Fireflies,” this song would go on to be the single off this album and a staple in The Revivalists career. This album sent them on extensive tours and set the standard for their sound.

The guys released City of Sound" in 2012 and re-released the album in 2014 as a double album. The second disk of the album is a live album highlighting past albums and some of The Revivalists favorites songs to perform. The group spent the remainder of the year focused on the launch of their next album.

In 2015 The Revivalists unloaded “Men Among Mountains.” leading to appearances on national television and major music festivals, this album would prove to be a significant breakthrough for the band. It shocked everyone when the single "Wish I Knew You" topped multiple Billboard charts and received platinum certification from the RIAA.

In 2018, they released their fourth studio album, "Take Good Care,"witch featured the hit single "All My Friends," this song seen great success, reaching No. 1 on the Adult Alternative radio chart. The Revivalists set out on their 2018 fall tour with a string of performances down the east coast, hitting Marcus King's Family Reunion held at Pisgah Brewing Company in Black Mountain, NC and finishing out the tour in Dallas TX.

Their fifth studio album, "Pour It Out Into The Night," was released in 2023, with the single "Kid" preceding its release. The band maintains an active touring schedule, performing at various music festivals and venues across the United States. The Revivalists stay true to there community with their contributions to disaster relief and other efforts to help the New Orleans, Louisiana area.
